Infinite Launches Dedicated Bank Accounts For Embedded Stablecoin And Fiat Payments

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

SAN FRANCISCO, April 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Infinite, the payments and compliance technology platform, today announced the launch of Infinite Accounts – dedicated bank accounts with unique routing numbers that work across both traditional payment rails and stablecoin networks, powered by Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC.

Businesses can integrate once with Infinite’s platform to access comprehensive account and payment capabilities, subject to program terms and transaction limits. Erebor Bank, N.A. provides the regulated banking infrastructure underneath.

A Unified Account Experience

Through the program, businesses and their end users get deposit accounts with full transactional capability – deposits, withdrawals, ACH, and domestic and international wire transfers – alongside stablecoin functionality, all accessible through Infinite’s APIs and platform. Accounts are provided by Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, and may be eligible for FDIC deposit insurance.¹ Stablecoin products accessible through the platform are not insured by the FDIC, are not bank deposits, and may lose value.²

What makes the program distinct is how it collapses what has traditionally required multiple banking relationships, compliance vendors, and crypto infrastructure providers into a single experience. A payroll company can pay contractors via ACH or on-chain stablecoin from the same funded account. A treasury platform can receive fiat deposits and programmatically convert to stablecoins for cross-border settlement, subject to processing times and applicable fees. The complexity lives in the platform, not in the customer’s workflow.

Stablecoin Native Capabilities

The partnership also supports stablecoin mint and burn in connection with fiat funds, on-chain and off-chain transaction flows across supported blockchain networks, and intelligent routing across traditional payment rails – including ACH and wire transfers.

Businesses don’t need to manage wallet infrastructure or navigate crypto complexity; the platform handles provider routing, compliance checks, and reconciliation behind the scenes.

Stablecoin holdings are not insured by the FDIC, are not bank deposits, may lose value, and are subject to different risks than FDIC-insured deposit accounts.² For a current list of supported stablecoins, visit https://infinite.dev.

Designed for Platforms

The program is built around Infinite’s Merchant Developer model. Third-party platforms, developers, and merchants integrate with Infinite’s APIs to offer banking and stablecoin capabilities to their own end users under their own brand – without needing to build payment infrastructure or manage direct banking relationships.

“We built Infinite to make stablecoin payments as easy, if not easier, to adopt as any other payment method,” said Nikhil Srinivasan, CEO of Infinite. “Real bank accounts, real payment rails, and stablecoin capabilities – all through one platform that businesses can integrate into their existing workflows.”

About Infinite

Infinite is a payments and compliance technology company building the enablement layer for B2B stablecoin adoption. Founded by Nikhil Srinivasan and Raj Lad, Infinite operates a unified platform that integrates payments, compliance, and risk controls for embedded fiat and stablecoin transactions. Visit https://infinite.dev to learn more.

¹ Infinite is a financial technology company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services, including deposit accounts, are provided by Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. Funds held in deposit accounts may be eligible for FDIC insurance up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, per ownership category, subject to satisfaction of conditions for pass-through deposit insurance. FDIC deposit insurance covers the failure of an FDIC-insured bank and does not protect against the failure or insolvency of Infinite or any non-bank entity. Infinite does not hold, control, or take custody of customer funds.

² Stablecoins accessible through the Infinite platform are not bank deposits, are not insured by the FDIC, and are not guaranteed by Erebor Bank, N.A. or any other financial institution. The value of stablecoin holdings depends on the reserves backing the stablecoin. Stablecoins may lose value. Stablecoin holdings are subject to different risks than FDIC-insured deposits. Banking services, including FDIC-insured deposit accounts, are separately available through Erebor Bank, N.A., Member FDIC.

Aurise Foundation Launches XAUE, Unlocking Yield For RWA Gold

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

PANAMA CITY, April 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Aurise Foundation today announced the launch of XAUE, a yield-bearing gold token designed as a Treasury Layer for Tether Gold (XAU₮). Built for qualified institutional participants, XAUE introduces crypto-native yield generation to traditionally non-yielding gold, transforming it into a programmable and capital-efficient on-chain asset.

At launch, ecosystem partners Aurelion and Antalpha have jointly committed 16,052 XAU₮ into XAUE (approximately $76 million as of April 22). As the ecosystem expands, XAUE may potentially integrate with leading more decentralized financial protocols, positioning itself as a foundational collateral and settlement asset across on-chain financial markets.

From Passive Store of Value to Productive On-Chain Asset

Gold has long served as a hedge against inflation and systemic risk, yet its capital efficiency has remained structurally limited. While gold ETFs improved accessibility, they lack 24/7 liquidity. Digital gold assets such as XAU₮ and PAXG have enhanced transferability and global accessibility, but still primarily rely on price appreciation without intrinsic yield generation.

XAUE is designed to bridge this gap. By preserving exposure to the underlying value of XAU₮ while introducing a gold-denominated yield mechanism, XAUE enables holders to benefit from compounding growth measured in gold units. The protocol adopts a monotonically increasing exchange rate model, where the gold value backing each XAUE token might grow over time as net yield accrues.

For example, Deposit 1 XAU₮ to receive 1,000 XAUE (1000:1). With a 2% annual yield, reserves grow to 1.02 XAU₮ while supply stays fixed, so 1,000 XAUE redeems for 1.02 XAU₮—delivering passive, auto-compounding gold returns.

About XAUE

XAUE is a decentralized asset enhancement protocol built on Ethereum, designed as a Treasury Layer for Tether Gold (XAU₮). By introducing gold-denominated yield, compliant access frameworks, efficient reserve verification, and a 1000:1 fractionalization model, XAUE redefines how gold can function within on-chain financial systems.

About Aurise Foundation

XAUE is a DeFi protocol on Ethereum and the Treasury Layer for Tether Gold (XAU₮), issued by Aurise Foundation (Panama). It enables yield generation on gold via quantitative strategies and institutional lending, while remaining fully backed by physical gold or XAU₮. Aurise Foundation and its partners oversee governance, audits, Proof of Reserves, and AML/KYC compliance. Access is limited to whitelisted, KYC/KYB-verified institutions in eligible jurisdictions. Kalshi Taps ProCap Financial to Build AI Research Tool from Prediction Market Data

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

Kalshi just cut a deal with ProCap Financial. The prediction market platform is handing over direct data feeds so ProCap can build investment research using AI. ProCap gets raw access to Kalshi’s market data and plans to turn it into actionable signals for subscribers.

The move is Kalshi’s third big distribution play in recent months. FOX, CNN, and CNBC already use Kalshi’s prediction odds in their news coverage. ARK Invest teamed up with Kalshi to create markets tied to research signals. ProCap brings something different to the table—independent, third-party analysis that sits outside Kalshi’s own walls.

Building an Ecosystem Around Market Data

Kalshi wants to do what stock exchanges did decades ago. Those venues didn’t just run markets—they built entire ecosystems of data vendors, analysts, and research shops around their pricing information. Kalshi is basically trying to replicate that model for prediction markets.

Anthony Pompliano from ProCap laid out how they’ll use the data. AI agents will pull specific data points—interest rate outcomes, macro events, things like that. The goal is to offer more targeted insights than you’d get from watching traditional assets. Instead of guessing what the Fed might do based on bond yields, you can see what actual market participants think will happen.

The partnership gives ProCap real-time access to crowd-sourced intelligence. Tarek Mansour, Kalshi’s CEO, said prediction markets convert uncertainties into actionable signals. By working with ProCap, Kalshi wants to get that intelligence into the hands of retail and institutional investors who might not trade on Kalshi directly.

Turning Crowd Wisdom into Revenue

Kalshi is monetizing its market intelligence. Not just through trading fees anymore. The company is treating its data like a commodity that other financial players will pay for. ProCap is the test case—can you build a subscription research product around prediction market data that people will actually pay for?

The AI angle matters here. ProCap isn’t just repackaging Kalshi’s odds and calling it research. They’re running algorithms to isolate specific signals from the noise. If the market shows a 73% chance of a rate cut in June, ProCap’s AI might cross-reference that against corporate earnings expectations or currency movements to generate trade ideas.

Whether this works depends entirely on ProCap’s subscriber base. If they find the insights valuable enough to act on, Kalshi has proof of concept. If not, it’s just another co-branding exercise that sounds better in a press release than it performs in reality.

The numbers will tell the story. ProCap needs subscribers who see enough edge in the AI-enhanced data to justify whatever they’re charging. Kalshi needs ProCap to succeed so it can pitch similar deals to other research shops and data vendors.

Prediction markets have always struggled with the monetization question. Trading volumes are fine, but building a sustainable business means finding multiple revenue streams. Kalshi is betting that data licensing can be one of them.

The collaboration adds a layer to Kalshi’s distribution strategy. Media partnerships get the brand out there. The ARK Invest deal brings credibility. ProCap represents the next step—proving that third parties can build profitable products on top of Kalshi’s infrastructure.

ProCap’s approach involves deploying AI agents to scan prediction markets for specific metrics. They’re looking for granular data points that traditional financial assets don’t surface cleanly. A stock price reflects everything the market knows, but it’s murky. A prediction market on whether the Fed cuts rates by June is pretty direct.

The challenge is scale. Can ProCap produce enough differentiated insights to justify a subscription? And can Kalshi sign enough ProCaps to build a real data licensing business? Right now it’s one partnership with one research firm.

Kalshi’s strategy reflects a broader push to mainstream prediction markets. The company isn’t content to be a niche platform for political junkies and macro traders. It wants to be infrastructure—the kind of thing that financial professionals check daily without thinking about it.

What Happens Next

The ARK partnership showed Kalshi could work with big-name investors. The media deals proved prediction odds could fit into news coverage without feeling forced. ProCap is the next test—can independent researchers build viable products from Kalshi’s data?

If ProCap’s subscribers bite, expect more announcements. Other research shops will want similar deals. Kalshi could start charging meaningful licensing fees. The platform becomes more valuable as distribution expands.

If ProCap’s product flops, Kalshi still has its core business. But the dream of building a Bloomberg-style data empire around prediction markets gets harder to sell. Investors want to see multiple revenue streams, not just trading fees.

Mansour’s bet is that crowd-sourced intelligence beats traditional forecasting. Prediction markets aggregate information from thousands of participants who have money on the line. That’s different from analyst opinions or economic models. ProCap’s job is to prove that difference translates into alpha.

The AI component is what makes this partnership different from a simple data resale agreement. ProCap isn’t just showing clients Kalshi’s odds. They’re processing those odds through algorithms to generate specific trade ideas and risk assessments. The value-add is in the analysis, not the raw data.

Kalshi is embedding itself into the financial research ecosystem one partnership at a time. Media outlets, asset managers, research firms—each deal expands the platform’s reach and validates the underlying premise that prediction markets belong in mainstream finance.

ProCap’s subscriber count over the next six months will matter more than any press release. That’s the real measure of whether this model works.

Unicoin Foundation Debuts, Aligning Social Impact With The Future Of Responsible Crypto

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

Sam, United States, April 20th, 2026, Chainwire

A new education-first model to accelerate responsible crypto adoption, entrepreneurship, and access to the digital economy.
Unicoin Foundation will advance ‘Crypto for Good’ and expand ‘Global Financial Inclusion.’

Unicoin Inc. today announced the official launch of the Unicoin Foundation, a mission-driven organization dedicated to leveraging blockchain technology to create meaningful social impact and expand access to the digital economy.

The Foundation’s launch aligns with the evolving market restructuring and regulatory clarity introduced under the leadership of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Paul Atkins, which emphasizes transparency, responsible innovation, and clear governance frameworks for digital assets. This milestone underscores Unicoin’s long-standing commitment to compliance, accountability, and building a sustainable and inclusive crypto ecosystem.

A New Era: Crypto as a Force for Good

Anchored in the flagship initiative “Crypto for Good,” the Unicoin Foundation aims to demonstrate how cryptocurrencies can contribute to broader social and economic initiatives.

Through education and ecosystem development programs, the Foundation is developing a scalable entry point to the digital economy for communities traditionally underrepresented in crypto. Within its Crypto for Good framework, it presents digital assets as a tool for expanding access, opportunity, and participation across global markets.

Its education-first approach focuses on financial literacy and long-term wealth creation, enabling individuals to transition from passive saving to active participation in both traditional and digital markets. At the same time, the Foundation accelerates entrepreneurship through hands-on training, mentorship, and startup support, equipping participants with practical capabilities in AI, blockchain, and Web3 to build and scale ventures, shifting the narrative from speculation to knowledge, ownership, and value creation.

Strengthening Trust Through Transparency and Compliance

The establishment of the Unicoin Foundation reflects the company’s proactive alignment with the principles of transparency and responsible governance emphasized in the evolving regulatory landscape. By separating social impact and educational initiatives into an independent foundation, Unicoin reinforces its commitment to ethical innovation and long-term sustainability.

“The future of crypto will be defined by trust, education, and real-world impact,” said Silvina Moschini, co-founder of Unicoin.

A Strategic Engine for Ecosystem Growth

Beyond its social mission, The Unicoin Foundation is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Unicoin’s global reputation, expanding its community, and accelerating adoption. By engaging new audiences and fostering trust, the Foundation supports the long-term development and sustainability of the Unicoin ecosystem.

These efforts are further reinforced through a set of strategic impact areas that translate the mission into measurable value creation. The Foundation drives market expansion by actively engaging women and underserved communities worldwide, unlocking new user segments and fostering inclusive participation in the digital economy. It contributes to ecosystem development by supporting entrepreneurs, developers, and innovators, enabling the creation of new solutions and use cases within the Unicoin network.

Finally, it strengthens community engagement by building a global network of informed and empowered participants who act as advocates and contributors to the ecosystem’s growth.

“With the Unicoin Foundation, we are creating a structure that not only advances responsible innovation, but also expands access to opportunity—ensuring that the benefits of digital assets are more inclusive, transparent, and meaningful for communities worldwide, added Alex Konanykhin, co-founder and CEO of Unicoin.”

Governance and Partnerships

The Unicoin Foundation will operate with independent governance from Unicoin Inc, guided by principles of transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.

The Foundation will be chaired by Robert Newman, a seasoned entrepreneur and one of Unicoin’s largest investors, and governed by a board of 27 directors, all of whom are Unicoin investors elected by shareholder vote, ensuring strong alignment between governance and the broader community.

This milestone follows a significant governance decision within the ecosystem:

More than 4,000 Unicoin shareholders participated in the vote
Nearly 99% approved the transition to an independent Foundation structure
Managerial efforts will be formally transferred from Unicoin Inc. to the Foundation

The restructuring aligns the ecosystem with SEC Chair Paul Atkins’ proposed “token taxonomy” framework, under which certain digital tools and functional tokens may fall outside securities registration requirements if they are not reliant on managerial efforts for profit.

About Unicoin

Unicoin Inc., a/k/a TransparentBusiness, is a U.S.-based crypto company committed to building one of the world’s most transparent and compliant cryptocurrency ecosystems. Through innovation, education, and community engagement, Unicoin aims to democratize access to economic opportunities and redefine the role of digital assets in society.

North Korean hackers blamed for $290M crypto theft

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

Over the weekend, hackers stole more than $290 million in cryptocurrency from Kelp DAO, a protocol that allows users to earn yields on idle crypto investments.

By Monday, LayerZero, one of the projects affected by the hack, accused North Korea of carrying out the heist. The hack is now the largest crypto theft of the year so far, following an earlier hack at crypto exchange Drift in April that netted hackers around $285 million.

Per its post on X, LayerZero said the hackers exploited Kelp DAO via its LayerZero bridge, which allows different blockchains to send instructions to each other. The hackers then took advantage of Kelp’s own security configuration, which did not require multiple verifications before approving transactions. That allowed the hackers to siphon off the funds with fraudulent transactions.

The company cited “preliminary indicators” that point to North Korea as the culprit, in particular its hacking group that targets crypto known as TraderTraitor.

Kelp DAO responded to LayerZero blaming it for the theft instead.

In the last few years, North Korean hackers working for Kim Jong Un’s regime have become highly successful at stealing crypto. Last year, North Korean hackers stole more than $2 billion in crypto. Overall, since 2017, the total amount of stolen crypto by North Korea is said to be around $6 billion.

Vantage Introduces An Enhanced App With A Seamless All-in-One Trading Experience

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

Port Vila, Vanuatu, April 21st, 2026, Chainwire

Vantage, a multi-asset CFD platform, has introduced an enhanced version of the Vantage App, with upgrades focused on asset visibility, capital movement, and a more integrated all-in-one trading experience.

As multi-asset investing becomes more complex, users expect more from trading platforms than execution alone. Beyond spreads, liquidity, and order speed, they increasingly look for clearer asset visibility, smoother capital movement, and a more connected experience across different financial use cases. This is the backdrop for the rise of all-in-one trading apps.

It is unfolding at a time when the boundary between traditional market access and digital trading infrastructure is becoming increasingly fluid. In the U.S., discussion around tokenized equities, more continuous market access, and modernized trading rails has accelerated, with Nasdaq recently announcing an equity token design initiative. Growing attention to tokenized gold and other digitally accessible commodity-related products also points to changing investor expectations around how capital, market access, and asset visibility connect across trading scenarios.

For Vantage, the relevance of this all-in-one model is not about placing more modules inside one interface. It is about reorganising the platform around the user’s full asset journey. That means moving beyond isolated workflows and toward a more connected, integrated structure built on asset clarity, capital mobility, and financial utility.

The first shift is visibility

In fragmented platform models, users often need to switch across contract accounts, copy trading accounts, funding wallets, and yield modules just to understand where their money sits. An integrated app experience begins with a unified view — one that helps users understand balances, positions, and allocation across different account types from a single starting point.

The second shift is capital movement

Traditional platforms may require users to understand internal account structures before they can deposit, transfer, withdraw, subscribe, or redeem. That may make sense from a backend perspective, but it creates unnecessary friction for users. The enhanced Vantage App simplifies the front-end journey, allowing capital movement to feel more direct and intuitive, while underlying processes remain in place.

The third shift is capital efficiency

In disconnected environments, funds may sit idle between product switches, transfers, or trading decisions. In a more integrated platform, users are able to see how capital is allocated, what remains unused, and how quickly funds can be repositioned. This is not just a convenience upgrade — it may improve how users manage available funds over time.

A fourth area of evolution is broader financial utility

Increasingly, users may expect platforms to connect trading with adjacent functions such as payments, card-linked services, and yield-related features, where available. Product availability varies by market, account status, and regulatory requirements, but the broader direction is evolving: the platform is becoming a more connected financial environment rather than a standalone execution tool.

This may also influence how trust is built. Execution quality and system stability remain essential, but in an all-in-one environment, trust also depends on transparency of assets, clarity of funding paths, and consistency across services. As platforms play a larger role in how users organise and move capital, they also place greater emphasis on how that experience is designed.

For Vantage, this evolution is about building an all-in-one platform experience that supports the full lifecycle of user activity — from overview and funding to trading, yield, and broader financial utility. More broadly, it reflects an industry shift: the key question is no longer only what users can trade, but how well a platform helps them manage their activity.

That is why the all-in-one model is relevant. It signals a move away from fragmented product design and toward a platform structure built around how users manage capital in a multi-asset world.

For Vantage, that all-in-one direction is currently taking shape.

Tria Integrates Decibel To Bring Onchain Perpetual Trading To Its Users

by admin April 22, 2026

written by admin

New York City, United States, April 21st, 2026, Chainwire

The integration embeds Decibel’s fully onchain, decentralized perpetuals exchange directly into Tria, enabling users to trade, earn, and spend from one self-custodial account, without bridges or custodial handoffs.

Tria, the self-custodial neofiance app unifying trading, yield, and payments into a single account, today announced a live integration with Decibel, a fully onchain perpetuals decentralized exchange built on Aptos. The integration, facilitated through Decibel’s Builder Code program, brings the decentralized exchange’s central limit order book (CLOB) directly into the Tria app, allowing users to place, match, and settle perpetual trades without leaving the platform or relinquishing custody of their assets.

The integration removes one of the most persistent sources of friction in digital asset markets: fragmentation. Users can now access perpetuals trading alongside yield strategies, cross-chain swaps, and card-based spending—all from the same self-custodial balance, without bridging assets or managing multiple wallets.

Decibel’s infrastructure operates entirely onchain, with every order placed, matched, and settled on Aptos. The result is sub-second finality and execution speeds that rival centralized exchanges, while maintaining full transparency and user control. Tria users can access this performance natively within the app, eliminating the need to move capital across platforms.

“Tria was built so that one account can handle everything—trading, earning, and spending,” said Parth Bhalla, Co-Founder and Tech Architect of Tria. “Integrating Decibel is a direct extension of that vision. Users can access high-performance perpetuals, put idle assets to work, and spend in the real world—all from the same self-custodial balance. That continuity is what makes onchain finance usable at scale.”

Decibel has already demonstrated significant throughput and user demand. On testnet, the platform processed more than 1 million trades per day with over 130,000 daily active users and 650,000 unique accounts. Since its mainnet launch in February 2026, Decibel has established itself as a leading onchain perpetuals venue, supported by a growing base of liquidity and institutional-grade infrastructure.

“Decibel has already proven that fully onchain trading can match the performance of centralized platforms,” said Brylee Whatley, Head of the Decibel Foundation. “The next step is distribution. By embedding directly into Tria, trading becomes something users can access instantly, not something they have to seek out. That shift is what moves onchain markets from niche to mainstream.”

Unlike traditional decentralized exchanges that require users to bridge funds into siloed environments, Tria integrates Decibel as a native financial primitive. This approach allows users to maintain a single balance across all activities, reducing operational complexity while improving capital efficiency.

Tria currently serves more than 500,000 users across 150+ countries and is backed by leading investors including P2 Ventures, Aptos, Polychain, and the Ethereum Foundation. The platform combines a self-custodial wallet with integrated financial services, including trading, yield generation, and card-based payments.

Decibel’s fully onchain CLOB architecture ensures that every transaction is verifiable on the Aptos blockchain, offering a level of transparency not typically found in high-performance trading systems. With sub-second finality and minimal transaction costs, the integration enables a seamless user experience without compromising on decentralization.

The Decibel integration is live in Tria beginning April 21, 2026.

About Tria

Tria is a self-custodial neofinance app designed to unify trading, yield, and payments into a single onchain account. Built for a global user base, Tria enables individuals to seamlessly trade digital assets, earn yield, and spend in the real world, all without relinquishing control of their funds or relying on custodial intermediaries. By integrating core financial primitives directly into one interface, Tria eliminates the fragmentation that has historically defined crypto markets, removing the need for bridging assets, managing multiple wallets, or navigating disconnected platforms. With support for cross-chain swaps, integrated yield strategies, and card-based payments, Tria delivers a cohesive financial experience where capital remains continuously accessible and productive. The platform currently serves more than 500,000 users across 150+ countries and is backed by leading investors including P2 Ventures, Polychain, and the Ethereum Foundation. Tria’s mission is to make onchain finance intuitive, efficient, and usable at global scale.

About Decibel

Decibel is a fully decentralized perpetuals exchange incubated by Aptos Labs. It operates a transparent Central Limit Order Book where order matching, settlement, and risk controls are enforced directly onchain and publicly verifiable. Designed for institutional-grade performance, Decibel emphasizes capital efficiency, deterministic risk management, deep liquidity, and high-speed execution.

About Aptos Network

Aptos is a high-performance proof-of-stake layer-one blockchain designed to power the next generation of financial systems through unparalleled throughput and low latency.

EASTON, Pa., April 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Eightco Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS) (“Eightco” or “the Company”) today provided an update on its total holdings, highlighting its expanding position across digital assets and strategic investments in leading private technology companies.

As of April 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET, ORBS’ holdings include a $90 million investment in OpenAI, a $25 million investment in Beast Industries, 283,452,700 Worldcoin (WLD) at $0.27 per WLD (per Coinbase), 11,068 Ethereum (ETH coins), and $118 million in total cash and stablecoins, for total holdings of approximately $336 million.

The World Lift Off event took place on April 17th and many products and new features were unveiled. Among the key new announcements:

World ID protocol updates
New partners: Zoom, Docusign, Tinder, Browserbase, Exa, Okta, and Vercel
New features in addition to Proof of Human, Face Auth, Deep Face and Credentials and Concert Kit
These bring proof of human to more platforms where people connect, work, and play
Expanded use cases: From deepfake protection to bot‑resistant governance

The use case and need for World and Proof of Human is rising rapidly in 2026. “More than 50% of all things on the internet are now generated by AI,” said Sam Altman, OpenAI Chief Executive Officer and Tools for Humanity co-founder, during the World Lift Off keynote on April 17, 2026.

“Preventing ‘double human,’ is arguably the most central issue faced by the digital economy today,” said Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, Head of Research at Fundstrat, and Board Member of Eightco. “By being able to verify the authenticity of our interactions, the world can positively leverage increasingly powerful technologies while maintaining trust.”

“We can also avoid the most damaging risks from the rising capabilities of agent systems,” continued Lee. “After all, one of the primary use cases of digital assets and blockchains was to prevent the problem of ‘double spend’ and now Proof of Human prevents ‘double human.’”

Notably, World and TFH also unveiled AgentKit. This developer toolkit is designed to provide cryptographic proof that an AI agent is operated by a verified, unique human. In other words, as the agent economy grows, AgentKit provides a trust layer, by ensuring this agent has been designated by a verified and unique person.

Eightco is built around three mega-trends the company expects to shape the next decade of innovation, including: artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy, with direct positions in each through OpenAI (27% of ORBS balance sheet), Worldcoin (23%), and Beast Industries (7%).

Digital Identity — WLD Token

Eightco holds over 283 million WLD, approximately 9% of circulating supply, the largest publicly disclosed institutional position, and representing approximately 23% of the Eightco treasury.

Bots and automated traffic now account for roughly 58% of global web requests, officially tipping into the majority and climbing fast in 2026 as agents proliferate. With bots outnumbering humans online, proof-of-human is quickly becoming essential infrastructure.

Worldcoin is the native token of World, a global Proof of Human network built by Tools for Humanity (co-founded by Sam Altman and Alex Blania) and stewarded by the World Foundation. Its Orb device issues a privacy-preserving World ID that verifies a user is a unique human, not an AI agent.

Artificial Intelligence — OpenAI

Eightco holds $90 million of OpenAI equity, representing approximately 27% of the treasury assets, one of the highest disclosed OpenAI concentrations of any listed vehicle.

ChatGPT, OpenAI’s consumer app, has officially claimed the #1 spot in consumer AI, overtaking TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook in monthly worldwide downloads in early 2026 (Sensor Tower), making it the fastest-scaling consumer app of the year.

Creator Economy — Beast Industries

Eightco holds $18 million of Beast Industries equity with an additional $7 million future commitment, or $25 million total, approximately 7% of the treasury assets.

Beast Industries became the first creator-led company to cross a $5.2 billion private valuation, with a 500M+ combined follower base across platforms. As AI commoditizes content creation, distribution and audience trust become scarce assets, Beast Industries commands one of the largest direct-to-consumer reach footprints in the world.

CEX.IO selects OpenPayd to power real-time settlements for institutional clients

London, United Kingdom, April 22nd, 2026, Chainwire

-Integration delivers multi-currency accounts, including SEPA Instant-enabled EUR payments, and FX infrastructure across CEX.IO’s global operations.

OpenPayd, a leading provider of financial infrastructure, has been selected by global cryptocurrency exchange CEX.IO to underpin its fiat payment operations and institutional settlement activity across its global platform.

CEX.IO supports 15 million retail and professional users worldwide, where managing liquidity across jurisdictions creates operational complexity. For institutional participants in particular, settlement reliability is as important as execution quality. Through OpenPayd’s infrastructure, CEX.IO has introduced multi-currency accounts in EUR, GBP, and USD, alongside integrated FX capabilities, enabling more efficient treasury management and streamlined movement of funds across its global operations.

Within this framework, EUR payment flows are supported via SEPA and SEPA Instant, giving CEX.IO access to near real-time settlement for euro-denominated transactions. By consolidating these flows within a single environment, CEX.IO gains a unified treasury view, supporting faster reconciliation, seamless settlement, and greater control as volumes and counterparty relationships scale.

The integration is designed to simplify how funds move across CEX.IO’s global operations. Rather than relying on fragmented banking relationships, CEX.IO can now route deposits, withdrawals, and internal treasury flows through a unified infrastructure, delivering faster, more consistent settlement for institutional and corporate clients.

Iana Dimitrova, CEO at OpenPayd, said: “CEX.IO operates at a global scale, with institutional clients who expect consistency across every touchpoint. The infrastructure underpinning that consistency is what allows exchanges to compete seriously for institutional flow. By choosing OpenPayd and consolidating fiat settlement into a single environment, CEX.IO is building the operational foundation required to support its next phase of growth.”

Arina Dudko, Head of Corporate Payment Solutions at CEX.IO, said: “Institutional participants increasingly expect crypto platforms to match the speed, reliability, and transparency of traditional financial systems. This integration reflects our focus on closing that gap. By embedding OpenPayd’s real-time EUR settlement and unified treasury capabilities, we’re aligning our infrastructure with the standards institutions are used to—while preserving the flexibility of digital asset markets.”

This collaboration reflects a broader shift in how digital asset exchanges are approaching fiat infrastructure. As institutional participation in crypto markets deepens, the ability to deliver regulated, real-time EUR settlement across a complex entity structure – without the friction of fragmented banking arrangements – is an increasingly important operational capability. Through OpenPayd’s regulated infrastructure, CEX.IO can extend that capability as its institutional business continues to scale.

CEX.IO, a crypto industry pioneer since 2013, began as the GHash.IO mining pool, which mined over 583K bitcoins. After nearly reaching 51% of Bitcoin’s mining power, the platform voluntarily scaled back mining capacity, shifting its focus to trading. Since then, CEX.IO has grown into a comprehensive platform with over 15M registered users, offering services for buying, storing, trading, selling, sending, and earning digital assets. As the first exchange to enable crypto purchases via credit card, CEX.IO has consistently led in innovation while maintaining a spotless 13-year record of security and regulatory compliance, having 40 global licenses and registrations.
