NOWPayments Releases Cross-Chain Payout Data Revealing Key Performance Benchmarks Across TRON, BNB Chain, and Solana

by admin September 21, 2026

written by admin

Tallinn, Estonia, September 21st, 2026, Chainwire

NOWPayments today published new empirical data analyzing six months of enterprise payout activity, offering a comparative performance benchmark across TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to help businesses select optimal blockchain rails based on speed, transaction volume, and cost efficiency.

The dataset reveals distinct operational advantages depending on transfer priorities: Solana recorded the fastest average payout speed at 1 minute and 45 seconds while accounting for 3.08% of volume and 3.86% of transactions. TRON led in total monetary volume at 43.69%, and BNB Smart Chain handled the largest share of individual payout transactions at 48.23%.

High-Frequency Payouts Put BNB Smart Chain in the Lead

Together, TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana accounted for 94.04% of payout volume and 77.84% of payout transactions during the period analyzed.

BNB Smart Chain accounted for 48.23% of transactions, compared with 15.73% for TRON. Its share of payout volume was lower at 21.75%.

The network handled far more individual transfers without carrying the largest share of value, a pattern consistent with higher-frequency, lower-value payouts in the NOWPayments dataset.

Higher-Value Payouts Put TRON in the Lead

TRON moved 43.69% of payout volume, more than twice BNB Smart Chain’s 21.75% share, despite accounting for a much smaller share of transactions.

Based on those shares, the average TRON payout was approximately 6.2 times larger than the average BNB Smart Chain payout during the period. The networks served different payout patterns: TRON carried more value, while BNB Smart Chain handled far more individual transfers.

Ethereum ranked third by volume at 18.84% and represented 7.42% of transactions. Bitcoin accounted for 6.68% of volume and 2.60% of transactions, while Solana represented 3.08% of volume and 3.86% of transactions.

The data suggests a practical framework for matching the network to the payout flow:

The data offers a starting point, not a universal network recommendation.

When Speed Matters, Solana Leads

Solana led on speed with an average payout time of 1:45. Bitcoin followed at 2:53, ahead of TRON at 3:08 and BNB Smart Chain at 3:13. Ethereum recorded the longest average at 5:56.

The gap between the fastest and slowest networks was 4 minutes and 11 seconds. Every network in the comparison still averaged less than six minutes, while TRON and BNB Smart Chain were separated by only five seconds.

The fastest network was not the most widely used. That points to a broader principle: crypto infrastructure should be evaluated across the full movement of funds, not by a single headline metric.

Kate Lifshits, Commercial Director at NOWPayments, applies the same data-first approach in Crypto That Works for Business, her Cryptopolitan series on the commercial impact of crypto payments. The first column, the 22% Sales Boost Hiding in Your Crypto Checkout, examined checkout performance; future editions will cover other points where payment infrastructure affects revenue, costs, and growth.

“The useful question is not which network tops a leaderboard. It is what a specific payout flow needs to optimize: value, frequency, speed, or cost,” said Kate Lifshits, Commercial Director at NOWPayments.

When Cost Matters, The Best Route May Not Be a Blockchain Network

When minimizing payout costs is the priority, comparing blockchain networks may be the wrong place to start.

NOWPayments allows businesses to send payouts to ChangeNOW Pro wallets with no network or service fees within the ecosystem. Creator Andy Tries Coding publicly tested the route and reported receiving a fee-free payout in under five seconds.

Recipients are identified by email and confirm the transfer before funds move, so businesses do not need to collect wallet addresses at the beginning of the payout process. An interactive guide walks through the process from payout creation to recipient access.

The takeaway is simple: define the payout flow first, then select the network or route. Value, frequency, speed, and cost will not point every business to the same answer.

Press Release

Rent TRON Energy and Reduce USDT Fees : TronBid Expands Marketplace

by admin August 26, 2026

written by admin

Berlin, Germany, August 26th, 2026, Chainwire

TronBid expands its two-sided TRON resource marketplace, giving users new ways to rent Energy, trade Energy and Bandwidth, and reduce USDT fees for TRC-20 transactions.

TronBid, a peer-to-peer marketplace for TRON network resources, has expanded its platform with new tools for users looking to rent TRON Energy, manage transaction costs and access network resources without maintaining large amounts of staked TRX.

The platform now operates as a two-sided marketplace where both buyers and sellers can create orders for TRON Energy and Bandwidth.

Understanding TRON Energy Usage

TRON uses Energy and Bandwidth as its primary network resources. Energy is required for smart-contract computation, including USDT TRC-20 transfers.

When a wallet does not have sufficient Energy, TRX may be consumed to cover the resources required by the transaction. This has created demand for users and businesses to rent Energy instead.

By receiving temporary Energy delegated from another account, users can perform eligible TRON transactions without maintaining enough staked TRX for their maximum resource requirements.

For businesses processing frequent TRC-20 transactions, choosing to rent TRON Energy can therefore provide another way to manage network costs and reduce USDT fees.

A Two-Sided Marketplace for Energy

Unlike platforms where rental conditions are determined entirely by the provider, TronBid allows both sides of the market to create orders.

Buyers can create BUY orders specifying the amount of Energy required, rental duration and price they are willing to pay.

Sellers can create SELL offers with their own amount, price and rental period. Buyers can purchase all or part of these offers directly.

For example, if a seller offers 600,000 Energy, one buyer can rent 350,000 Energy, leaving the remaining amount available for other buyers.

Creating a SELL offer does not reserve the seller’s Energy. If resources become unavailable because they are being used elsewhere, recurring offers can automatically pause and become active again when sufficient Energy returns.

This allows sellers to participate in the TronBid marketplace while continuing to manage their resources elsewhere.

Rent Energy Without Waiting for the Marketplace

For users who need resources immediately, TronBid also provides Quick Rent with predefined Energy packages and short rental periods.

Energy can be delivered directly to any specified TRON address, even when payment is made from another wallet.

TronBid has also introduced Flash Recharge, an alternative designed for wallets that already maintain their own Energy capacity but need to manage consumed resources.

Energy and Bandwidth Trading

TronBid’s marketplace supports both Energy and Bandwidth, allowing holders of staked TRX to monetize the network resources their stake generates.

This creates two sides of the ecosystem: users who need to rent TRON Energy or Bandwidth and resource owners looking to make unused capacity available to the market.

By allowing both buyers and sellers to determine their own terms, TronBid aims to create more transparent price discovery based on actual supply and demand.

B2B API to Reduce USDT Fees at Scale

TronBid also provides a B2B Quick Rent API for exchanges, payment processors, wallets, OTC services and other businesses processing frequent TRON transactions.

Businesses can maintain a prepaid balance and automatically request Energy for specified TRON addresses before executing transactions.

Instead of manually renting resources for every transfer, companies can integrate Energy rental directly into their transaction infrastructure.

For businesses handling large numbers of USDT TRC-20 transfers, this can make it easier to rent Energy automatically and manage the network-resource component of transaction costs.

TronBid Becomes a TRON SR Partner

Alongside the expansion of its marketplace, TronBid has become a TRON Super Representative Partner, adding the project to TRON’s delegated proof-of-stake governance ecosystem.

The development strengthens TronBid’s connection with the underlying TRON ecosystem while the platform continues building infrastructure around Energy and Bandwidth.

About TronBid

TronBid is a peer-to-peer marketplace for TRON Energy and Bandwidth. Buyers can rent TRON Energy, create BUY orders or purchase existing seller offers, while resource owners can create SELL offers with their own prices and rental periods.

The platform also provides Quick Rent, Flash Recharge and a B2B API for businesses looking to automate Energy rental and reduce USDT fees for TRC-20 transactions.

USDT on Tron central to $1 billion money laundering scheme, feds say – DL News

by admin January 17, 2026

written by admin

A Venezuelan national allegedly laundered around $1 billion for crooks, feds say.
He used a number of crypto wallets to do so.
The alleged criminal transactions were made using Tether’s USDT on Tron.

The US Department of Justice has charged a man for allegedly laundering $1 billion in criminal funds, using USDT on the Tron blockchain to help him do so.

Feds said in a statement that Venezuelan national Jorge Figueira, 59, allegedly made the transactions in “a scale of criminal conduct that poses a profound threat to financial systems and public safety.”

Court documents unsealed this month allege that Figueira’s cryptocurrency of choice was Tether’s USDT stablecoin, which he used to receive huge payments in digital tokens before converting them via liquidity providers into US dollars.

“Let me be clear with you, [USDT] is used a lot for laundering money,” Feds quoted Figueira saying in a phone call.

“It is used for what we are doing,” he continued. “It is used to transfer money in a quick way, even to make it get to jurisdictions that have some type of issues, etcetera,” he added, using China as an example.

Tron’s blockchain

Feds allege in court documents that blockchain analysts found the illicit money movements were made using the Tron blockchain — the crypto network founded by entrepreneur Justin Sun.

USDT, the most-traded digital asset, runs on a number of blockchains but transactions on Tron are faster and cheaper than other networks.

Figueira allegedly made many transactions to a number of crypto wallets before using liquidity providers to then convert the crypto to cash for American bank accounts.

But using USDT or other cryptocurrencies to launder money is nothing new, FBI Special Agent Stephen A. Walker said in the affidavit.

“The cryptocurrency ecosystem is often used by money launderers to receive money, and to launder it quickly, anonymously, and at scale,” Walker testified.

Walker added that “a series of convoluted transactions and quick swaps between financial accounts, whether traditional bank accounts or cryptocurrency wallets” often shows that money movements are being obfuscated.

Big transfers

Figueira allegedly received huge transfers for crooks, with feds quoting him boasting that he and his associates would manage sometimes up to $700 million per month, sending funds all over the world — from Colombia to China.

Court documents added Figueira allegedly said he could receive $100 million in a single transaction with his digital wallet.

The Justice Department said it had identified approximately $1 billion that moved through digital wallets used by Figueira and his operation to individuals and businesses throughout the world.

Figueira now faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of conspiracy to launder money, the Justice Department said.

The Justice Department did not immediately respond to further questions from DL News.

Tron TRX Price Holds $0.32 Support as Bulls Eye $0.35

by admin October 17, 2025

written by admin

Tron (TRX) has shown renewed strength after a period of market turbulence, climbing 1.12% in the past 24 hours to $0.322. This short-term rebound follows a week-long pullback of -5.07% and a monthly loss of nearly -6.93%, signaling potential for a technical recovery. Analysts point to several factors supporting the bounce, including institutional interest, technical indicators, and record stablecoin transfers on the Tron network.

Key Support and Resistance Levels

TRX is currently holding strong at the $0.31–$0.32 support zone, a proven demand area since August 2025. Buyers have consistently stepped in around this level, even after the token experienced a sharp 8.27% drop over the past two months.

On the upside, traders are eyeing $0.335 as the next resistance, corresponding to the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement. If Tron manages to break above this level, the $0.354 mark becomes the next target for bullish momentum. However, a drop below $0.30 could prompt a retest of yearly lows, posing a risk for short-term bulls.

Technical Indicators Support the Upside

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has exited oversold territory, rising to 39.16, suggesting that selling fatigue is easing and the market may be poised for a recovery. In addition, derivatives traders are showing renewed interest, with 90-day Futures Taker CVD data indicating accumulation and growing confidence in the token.

Institutional Spotlight Boosts Confidence

Beyond technical indicators, Tron’s ecosystem has garnered attention from institutional investors. The recent SRM merger, which positions Tron for a Nasdaq listing, has further strengthened market sentiment.

Tron remains a dominant player in stablecoin settlements, hosting over $80 billion in USDT and recording $15.6 trillion in transfers last quarter. These figures underline the network’s significant role in the crypto market, providing a foundation for potential price gains.

Short-Term and Long-Term Outlook

In the short term, TRX bulls are targeting a climb to $0.35, contingent on holding support above $0.32 and surpassing resistance at $0.335. Traders should watch liquidity around the support zone closely, as a breach below $0.30 could trigger a retest of annual lows.

Long-term, Tron’s institutional partnerships, stablecoin dominance, and network activity suggest that the token retains strong bullish potential, with technical and fundamental factors aligning for further upward moves.

TRX Price Prediction: TRON Targets $0.35-$0.40 by November 2025 Despite Current Bearish Momentum

by admin October 17, 2025

written by admin

Rongchai Wang

TRON (TRX) shows mixed signals with analysts targeting $0.32-$1.03. Technical analysis suggests potential breakout to $0.35+ if key resistance levels hold.

TRX Price Prediction Summary

• TRX short-term target (1 week): $0.325 (+1.5%) – Conservative upside based on current consolidation
• TRON medium-term forecast (1 month): $0.35-$0.40 range – Bullish breakout scenario if resistance breaks
• Key level to break for bullish continuation: $0.35 (Upper Bollinger Band and strong resistance)
• Critical support if bearish: $0.30 (Strong support and lower Bollinger Band proximity)

Recent TRON Price Predictions from Analysts

The latest TRX price prediction landscape shows cautious optimism among crypto analysts. Changelly’s consistent forecasts over the past week have maintained relatively stable expectations, with their TRON forecast ranging from $0.314 to $0.321 in the short term. This represents a conservative outlook that aligns with current market consolidation patterns.

However, the prediction spectrum widens significantly when examining medium-term targets. PricePredictions.com presents a notably bullish TRX price target of $1.03, representing a potential 222% upside from current levels. Meanwhile, CoinCodex offers a more measured approach with their $0.343686 target, suggesting a 7.97% near-term gain.

The consensus among analysts indicates TRON is positioned for gradual recovery, though opinions diverge on the magnitude of potential gains. Most predictions carry medium confidence levels, reflecting the current market uncertainty and mixed technical signals.

TRX Technical Analysis: Setting Up for Potential Breakout

Current TRON technical analysis reveals a cryptocurrency at a critical juncture. Trading at $0.32, TRX sits precisely at its 7-day SMA and near the middle of its recent trading range. The RSI reading of 37.72 positions TRON in neutral territory, neither oversold nor overbought, providing room for movement in either direction.

The MACD histogram showing -0.0019 indicates bearish momentum persists, though the magnitude suggests weakening selling pressure. This divergence between neutral RSI and bearish MACD creates an interesting setup for potential trend reversal.

Volume analysis shows robust daily trading of $134.7 million on Binance, indicating healthy market participation. The Bollinger Bands configuration reveals TRX trading at 0.16 position, placing it closer to the lower band ($0.31) than the upper band ($0.35), suggesting potential for mean reversion toward the middle band at $0.33.

TRON Price Targets: Bull and Bear Scenarios

Bullish Case for TRX

The bullish TRX price prediction scenario targets $0.35-$0.40 within the next 30 days. This trajectory requires breaking above the immediate resistance at $0.35, which coincides with both the upper Bollinger Band and the 52-week high resistance zone.

Key catalysts supporting this TRON forecast include the current position below the SMA 20 ($0.33) and SMA 50 ($0.34), creating potential for snapback rallies. The 200-day SMA at $0.30 provides strong foundational support, suggesting the long-term trend remains intact despite recent consolidation.

If TRX successfully breaks $0.35, the next logical TRX price target sits at $0.37-$0.40, representing the previous 52-week high area where profit-taking might emerge.

Bearish Risk for TRON

The bearish scenario for this TRX price prediction centers on a break below the critical $0.30 support level. This zone represents both strong technical support and the 200-day moving average, making it a crucial line in the sand for TRON bulls.

Should $0.30 fail to hold, the next significant support doesn’t appear until the $0.26-$0.28 range, representing potential downside of 15-20% from current levels. The negative MACD histogram and TRX trading below most short-term moving averages support this bearish risk scenario.

Volume confirmation would be crucial in any bearish breakdown, as current trading volumes suggest institutional interest remains steady.

Should You Buy TRX Now? Entry Strategy

Based on current TRON technical analysis, a layered entry approach appears most prudent. The optimal buy zone for TRX sits between $0.31-$0.315, offering proximity to the lower Bollinger Band while maintaining distance from critical support.

For aggressive traders, a breakout entry above $0.335 (clearing the SMA 20) could signal the beginning of the bullish scenario toward our TRX price target of $0.35+. This strategy requires tight risk management with stops below $0.32.

Conservative investors might wait for a successful test and hold of the $0.30 support before initiating positions. This approach reduces downside risk but may sacrifice optimal entry pricing if the TRON forecast proves accurate.

Risk management suggests position sizing at 1-2% of portfolio maximum, with stop-losses placed below $0.295 to protect against significant support breakdown.

TRX Price Prediction Conclusion

Our comprehensive TRON forecast suggests a medium confidence prediction for TRX reaching $0.35-$0.40 within the next month, representing 10-25% upside potential. This TRX price prediction relies on maintaining support above $0.30 and eventual breakout above $0.35 resistance.

The critical indicators to monitor include RSI movement above 50 for momentum confirmation, MACD histogram turning positive, and daily closing prices above the $0.33 middle Bollinger Band. Volume expansion above 150 million daily would provide additional bullish confirmation.

Timeline for this prediction centers on the next 2-4 weeks, with November 2025 representing the target window for reaching our primary TRX price target. Failure to hold $0.30 support would invalidate this bullish thesis and trigger our bearish scenario toward $0.26-$0.28.

Whether to buy or sell TRX depends on individual risk tolerance, but current technical setup favors patient accumulation near support levels with defined risk parameters.
