Yield Basis (YB) is the 53rd project that is presented on Binance HODLer Airdrops with a “Seed Tag” applied. Users who subscribed BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products from October 9, 2025, 00:00 (UTC) to October 11, 2025, 23:59 (UTC) will be eligible.

YieldBasis (YB) operates as an engineered DeFi protocol specifically designed to maximize capital efficiency and optimize returns for foundational crypto assets. YieldBasis primarily targets Bitcoin and Ethereum holders. The project resolves two chronic limitations in DeFi yield generation. First, it fixes the modest base returns on stable assets. Second, it addresses the widespread threat of Impermanent Loss (IL). IL commonly affects many liquidity provision models.

To address these core challenges, YB integrates two sophisticated core mechanisms. These include recursive leveraged liquidity and strategic utilization of Curve’s crvUSD stablecoin. The protocol implements a controlled leverage strategy on the collateral provided, which significantly increases the annual percentage yield (APY) compared to the baseline returns typically offered by unleveraged liquidity pools. Furthermore, this approach effectively capitalizes on the robust, deep liquidity and established infrastructure of the Curve ecosystem, since Curve remains the dominant entity for efficient stable-asset swaps and accurate price discovery.

The protocol’s main differentiating factor is its proprietary structure, which mitigates Impermanent Loss. YB does not truly “eliminate” IL. Instead, its mechanism effectively transforms the risk. This is most likely a delta-neutral hedging strategy involving dynamic rebalancing against derivatives markets within the crvUSD framework. While traditional liquidity pools suffer opportunity loss when asset prices diverge, YB converts this volatility exposure into more manageable funding rate risk and basis risk. Ultimately, YB effectively distances itself from conventional yield farms by delivering a risk-aware environment that generates amplified returns. Finally, to maximize reach and accessibility, YB deploys its solution across both the high-value Ethereum and high-throughput BNB Smart Chain ecosystems.

YB Token Details

YB is the native token powering the Yield Basis ecosystem. Its utility focuses on decentralized governance and protocol incentivization, ensuring community control and sustainable growth.

Furthermore, users can lock YB to receive vote-escrowed YB (veYB), which provides them with boosted rewards and a share of the protocol’s trading fees, typically denominated in Bitcoin (BTC) or other base assets. This staking mechanism aligns incentives for long-term holders by granting them a direct claim on the protocol’s performance-driven revenue. The YB token actively aligns incentives through a structured supply mechanism.

Regarding its supply, the total token supply is 700,000,000 YB, with a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 YB. At the Binance listing, the circulating supply stands at 87,916,667 YB, which represents approximately 12.56% of the total supply.

Binance HODLer Airdrops Program Details

To be eligible for the YB airdrop, BNB holders must have had a balance in Simple Earn (Flexible/Locked) or On-Chain Yields products. Eligibility was determined by historical snapshots taken between 2025-10-09 00:00 (UTC) and 2025-10-11 23:59 (UTC).

• Total Airdrop: 10,000,000 YB (1.00% of max total token supply) via the HODLer Airdrop.
• Hard Cap: Any individual BNB balance exceeding 4% of the pool average will only be counted up to the 4% limit for reward calculation.
• Binance Listing Date: 2025-10-15 11:00 (UTC).
• Trading Pairs: YB/USDT, YB/USDC, YB/BNB, YB/FDUSD, and YB/TRY.
