In brief
- IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said Monday in Bangkok that AI investment is keeping global growth near 3% despite an energy shock.
- Georgieva called AI a ‘slow-moving tsunami’ that will eventually touch about 40% of jobs worldwide and roughly 60% in advanced economies, with young workers hit first.
- The IMF will release its full World Economic Outlook on October 13, its first update to the 3% global growth forecast since July.
Artificial intelligence spending is keeping the world economy growing at roughly 3% a year even as an energy shock drags on most countries, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said Monday in Bangkok.
Georgieva spoke on the opening day of the IMF and World Bank annual meetings, which run through October 18 in the Thai capital. The biggest winners, she said, are the Asian economies that build the hardware behind AI, where adoption could add 0.5 to 1 percentage point a year to growth in advanced economies and 0.2 to 0.8 points in emerging ones.
A percentage point is the raw gap between two growth rates, so an economy growing 2% that gains a full point grows 3%, which is a lot. Georgieva said the high end of that range would more than offset the drag from aging populations across the region.
In its July outlook update, the IMF found that the top four net exporters of AI hardware—Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia—beat its first-quarter growth forecasts by an average of 4.4% on an annualized basis, with South Korea growing at a 7.5% pace against the 1.8% the Fund had projected in April.
In a speech in Singapore last week, Georgieva said AI hardware and related tech products now make up more than a tenth of world goods trade. She added that AI investment as a share of global GDP will likely surpass what went into building the railroads or the electricity grid.

Georgieva also warned that the boom is bypassing most countries outside that supply chain. The Fund’s July update projected 2026 global growth at 3%, down from 3.5% in 2025, as the Middle East war drove energy prices up.
On jobs, Georgieva called AI a “slow-moving tsunami” and said the IMF expects it to eventually touch about 40% of jobs worldwide, even downgrading or eliminating many of them. Exposure runs around 60% in advanced economies and roughly 23% in low-income countries, though she said poorer nations score lower mainly because AI hasn’t reached them yet.
Young people entering the workforce are first in line, she said, because AI is absorbing the routine tasks entry-level jobs are built on. Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, speaking on the same panel, said demand for graduates’ first jobs is already falling and warned that AI could widen the gap between rich and developing economies if governments don’t act.
AI could also squeeze public finances, Georgieva said, because if it shifts income from workers to the owners of capital, governments lose part of the tax base they lean on most. World Bank President Ajay Banga said the bank is backing “small AI” tools that don’t depend on large language models, aimed at farmers, clinics and classrooms in emerging markets.
Georgieva said in Singapore that the AI build-out itself is adding to inflation, and warned that disappointing earnings could spread through markets because major AI companies have borrowed heavily to fund it.
The IMF publishes its full World Economic Outlook at 9 a.m. Bangkok time on October 13, which is 10 p.m. Monday in New York, with its first revision to the 3% global growth forecast since July.

Citi’s Scott Chronert says the S&P 500 needs both AI stocks and rate-sensitive sectors to rally to reach 8,100. Only one of those groups is in good standing, by his account.
Chronert, Citi Research’s head of U.S. equity strategy, says AI-linked companies make up just over half of the index. Third-quarter earnings season is getting underway.
Can Rate-Sensitive Stocks Close the Gap?
Citi raised its year-end target to 8,100 from 7,700 in June, citing AI-driven earnings strength. On the AI side, Chronert expects earnings tailwinds to continue through third-quarter reports.
In contrast, Chronert said rate-sensitive sectors have dropped about 10% since the Federal Reserve’s Jackson Hole symposium in late August.
Those include utilities, real estate, consumer discretionary stocks, and, to a degree, banks.
A rebound hinges on markets pricing out some expected Fed rate hikes, he said. The Fed raised rates by a quarter point on September 16. However, it could raise them again at the October 28 meeting.
Chronert also named the midterm elections as a hurdle the index must clear before year-end.
Meanwhile, Matt Stucky, senior portfolio manager at Northwestern Mutual, expects a positive season. He said consensus points to upper-20s year-over-year earnings growth, versus low 30s in the second quarter.
He said valuation multiples, the price paid per dollar of profit, could drive stocks from here. Fed policy, the 10-year Treasury yield, inflation, and oil all feed into that.
What Happens if AI Spending Disappoints?
Aya Yoshioka of Wealth Enhancement Group said the outlook depends on what hyperscalers say about AI capital spending. Hyperscalers are the large cloud providers building out AI infrastructure.
Yoshioka wants to see last quarter’s strong cloud growth and investment returns continue. Without that, a correction could follow as investors reset expectations for 2027.
“we need this broadening trade to come back to get to my 8100”
Scott Chronert, head of U.S. equity strategy at Citi
Concentration was a theme across the panel, which noted the AI trade now touches about 50% of S&P 500 companies. Chronert’s 8,100 target depends on the other half joining in.

Can a crypto casino offer big-multiplier potential without taking the traditional house cut? BiggerZ has introduced 100% RTP Originals, combining a theoretical 0% house edge with transparent game rules and verifiable results.
100% RTP Crypto Casino Games: How a 0% House Edge Works
Return to player (RTP) describes the theoretical share of wagers returned over a very large number of rounds. A 99% RTP game implies a 1% house edge; 100% RTP means no theoretical house edge on eligible play.
In practice, $1,000 in total wagering at 99% RTP implies $10 in expected loss; at 100%, it falls to zero. Individual sessions still vary: players can lose their stake or finish ahead.
BiggerZ 100% RTP Originals: Mines, Dice, Plinko, Hi-Lo and Keno
The BiggerZ Touch lobby displays 100% RTP badges on selected Originals, including Mines, Dice, Plinko, Hi-Lo and Keno. Not every BiggerZ Touch title has the same return: the lobby also displays 99% RTP on certain games. 100% RTP applies up to a $50,000 qualifying wagering threshold, after which it shifts to 99%.
Can You Win Big on 100% RTP Originals? Multipliers and Risk
Games such as Plinko and Limbo keep their multiplier outcomes, where a less likely result pays several times the wager. A 0% house edge does not guarantee a win or make high multipliers more likely. It changes the operator’s theoretical margin, not the volatility of each round.
100% RTP Originals vs High-RTP Slots: What Is the Difference?
Third-party online slots keep their own published RTP, volatility and bonus mechanics. A slot at 96% RTP carries a 4% theoretical house edge, versus zero on an eligible 100% RTP Original. The comparison concerns long-run mathematics, not which game will deliver the next big payout.
Provably Fair Crypto Casino Games: Verify BiggerZ Touch Results
Eligible BiggerZ Touch outcomes include a provably fair layer, allowing players to check each result independently. BiggerZ also publishes Live RTP across 10-minute, one-hour and 24-hour windows, showing recent payout activity, which does not predict the next result.
Where to Play 100% RTP Originals on BiggerZ Crypto Casino
Players can open BiggerZ Touch, select a game showing a 100% RTP badge and check its rules, limits and verification tools before placing a wager. The offer does not apply to slots, live casino, sports bets or prediction markets.
About BiggerZ: Crypto Casino, Sportsbook and Prediction Markets
BiggerZ combines crypto casino Originals, online slots, live casino, sports betting and prediction markets through one account and balance, with supported cryptocurrencies and selected fiat payment options. Some Aave loans backed by yield-bearing collateral had narrow liquidation buffers in LlamaRisk’s Oct. 9 snapshots. Every top PT-AUSD supplier on Monad carried debt, while two syrupUSDC positions accounted for about 97% of supplied syrupUSDC on Arc. Cashing out the collateral involves a market sale or, for Arc holders choosing Ethereum redemption, a withdrawal queue that can take hours.
The two markets present separate versions of the same cash-flow problem. If a borrower becomes eligible for liquidation, a liquidator supplies the borrowed stablecoin, receives collateral and then recovers cash from it. December PT-AUSD requires a sale before maturity. Arc syrupUSDC offers a local sale or a bridge to Ethereum for redemption. An oracle valuation establishes collateral value within Aave; the exit determines what the liquidator can recover.
The Oct. 9 reviews of Monad and Arc recommend larger caps, making the economics of those exits consequential as borrowers seek room to grow.
Aave’s health factor compares collateral value, adjusted for liquidation thresholds, with debt. A position becomes eligible for liquidation below 1. The top Monad PT suppliers had health factors between 1.01 and 1.18, with a median of 1.03, in the Oct. 9 snapshot. USDC was their dominant debt asset, followed by USDT0.
Those readings leave a narrow valuation cushion for part of the cohort. They also reflect why borrowers pair correlated collateral and debt: smaller relative price changes can support higher leverage. Aave notes that lower health factors may be appropriate for correlated assets.
During liquidation, someone repays the borrower’s debt and receives collateral plus an incentive. The liquidator weighs the collateral’s realizable proceeds against the debt repaid, transaction and conversion costs, and the cost of financing any redemption wait. The health factor measures proximity to eligibility; a sale quote measures the exit.
Monad’s PT-AUSD Aave loans need a sale before maturity
The Monad collateral is PT-AUSD-17DEC2026, a Pendle principal token representing a claim on AUSD at its Dec. 17 maturity. The redemption entitlement is in the accounting asset. Receiving one AUSD still requires any conversion needed to obtain the USDC or USDT0 borrowed against it.
LlamaRisk reported that the reserve’s 30 million PT supply cap was fully utilized on Oct. 9 and recommended increasing it to 60 million PT. These limits measure token capacity. A larger cap would allow more collateral into Aave; its successful exit would still depend on buyers or redemption.
Before maturity, Pendle’s documented liquidation route sells PT into SY, its standardized yield wrapper, then redeems SY into a supported output token. After maturity, PT can be redeemed into SY without that market sale. Any further conversion into the borrowed stablecoin remains part of the route.
The Oct. 9 review describes the Pendle pool as 47% PT and 53% SY. A large PT sale draws from the opposite side of the pool, so a useful exit estimate needs the intended sale size, output and price impact across the full conversion.
Pricing adds another constraint. LlamaRisk says the December PT uses a linear discount oracle on AUSD/USD. Pendle’s linear-discount documentation describes a predictable path toward maturity independent of AMM prices. That valuation can follow its curve while a liquidator’s sale price depends on the market’s willingness to absorb seized PT.
LlamaRisk’s Oct. 2 launch recommendation specified a 95% liquidation threshold and a 2.62% bonus for the stablecoin E-mode, alongside a 93% borrowing limit. A liquidator has to compare the incentive applicable at execution with the actual cost of turning PT into the debt token.

Arc’s syrupUSDC Aave loans rely on buyers or a redemption queue
The Arc comparison concerns syrupUSDC, a bridged share in Maple’s Ethereum yield-bearing vault. In the Oct. 9 Arc review, the two largest positions held approximately 97% of the supplied syrupUSDC at health factors of 1.02 and 1.01. All outstanding debt among syrupUSDC suppliers was USDC.
A few positions can therefore dominate demand for that collateral’s exit. The concentration refers to supplied syrupUSDC, while the stablecoin available to Aave lenders sits in a separate reserve.
Arc had substantial Aave liquidity at the snapshot: 143.45 million USDC added to the Core Hub, 83.82 million drawn and 59.63 million available. That available balance is debt-token inventory in Aave. Buyers of syrupUSDC and cash available for Maple redemptions determine other parts of the unwind.

$55 million Aave stablecoin pool sees just $4.4 million available for withdrawals
LlamaRisk’s September Arc assessment, using Sept. 23 liquidity data, found one local Uniswap V4 syrupUSDC/USDC venue whose proceeds saturated near $500,000 as its USDC side was exhausted. The sale ran into the venue’s available cash inventory.
The same assessment described no native Arc redemption. A holder could sell locally or bridge to Ethereum and then request redemption. It estimated the bridge transfer alone at two to five minutes under normal conditions, with throughput around $10 million an hour. Maple’s withdrawal queue adds a separate wait.
Maple’s withdrawal terms make the timing constraint explicit: requests enter a first-in, first-out queue and are processed as liquidity becomes available. Most withdrawals take under 24 hours, but they can take up to 30 days. Its contract architecture explains why entitlement to a pool’s value can exceed immediately available withdrawal cash.
For a liquidator using that route, Ethereum redemption and Arc debt repayment are separate stages. The funder needs USDC to repay the Aave loan before the collateral’s later exit pays them back. Bridge capacity, redemption cash and financing duration each affect whether the unwind is economical.

Arc’s shared Hub connects lender exposure with cap growth
LlamaRisk’s Arc onboarding recommendation values syrupUSDC through Chainlink’s syrupUSDC/USDC exchange rate and capped USDC/USD using a CAPO adapter. The exchange-rate input follows the Ethereum vault’s exit value. Local trading depth determines how much of that value a sale can realize.
The recommendation also specifies a 92% collateral factor and a dynamic liquidation bonus capped at 4%. The applicable bonus varies with the liquidation conditions. Its maximum provides a ceiling on the incentive against which a liquidator weighs exit costs.
The Maple Spoke draws from the same Arc Core Hub USDC reserve as the Main Spoke. Aave’s earlier Hub design discussion explains shared solvency inside a Hub: Spoke-level limits constrain exposure, while the Hub remains the common liquidity and accounting venue. Applied to the described Arc arrangement, that architecture places Maple Spoke exposure within the Core Hub’s shared solvency. Monad’s V3 market and Ethereum’s separate Hub configurations have different boundaries.

Aave V4’s Arc market is swimming in $76 million of USDC nobody is borrowing
LlamaRisk’s Oct. 9 Arc proposal would increase the Maple Spoke’s USDC draw cap from 23 million to 46 million USDC and its syrupUSDC add cap from 25 million to 50 million shares. The draw cap was fully utilized and the add cap 87.8% utilized in that review. Share-token capacity requires its own valuation before comparison with dollar debt.
Those caps set maximum collateral or borrowing capacity; additional exposure depends on subsequent deposits and borrowing.
For lenders assessing these Aave loans, the test is concrete: compare recoverable collateral proceeds at the relevant liquidation size with the debt repaid and total exit costs, then identify who funds any redemption delay. The liquidation incentive affects how much collateral the liquidator receives. Monad’s PT requires a market sale before December maturity. Arc requires local buyers or an Ethereum exit with sufficient bridge capacity, redemption cash and financing.

NORWALK, Conn., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — (NYSE: BMNR) Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (“Bitmine” or the “Company”), a Bitcoin and Ethereum Network company with a focus on the accumulation of crypto for long term investment, today announced Bitmine crypto + total cash & marketable securities + “moonshots” holdings totaling $16.2 billion.
As of October 11, 2026 at 1:30pm ET, the Company’s crypto holdings are comprised of 6,028,946 ETH at $2,544 per ETH (per Coinbase NASDAQ: COIN), 214 Bitcoin (BTC), $180 million stake in Beast Industries, $85 million stake in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) (“moonshots”) and total cash & marketable securities of $612 million. Bitmine’s ETH holdings are 4.9% of the ETH supply (of 122.1 million ETH).
On October 7, Bitmine released its latest Chairman’s message titled “Crypto Bull Underway — This Cycle Likely the Largest.” The presentation is available at the Bitmine website (presentation link).
“We believe Bitmine is positioned to outperform the crypto bull market that we expect to be coming, as the company has strengthened its competitive position over the past year in the midst of a crypto winter (bear market),” stated Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of Bitmine.
“The accumulation of a majority of our 6 million ETH took place in the midst of a crypto bear market and with the Company nearing our 5% ETH accumulation target, we believe the company is attractively positioned ahead of the coming crypto bull,” continued Lee.
Among the key strategic steps taken in the past year is the issuance of the Bitmine 9.5% Perpetual Preferred stock (BMNP) in June of this year. BMNP was issued at $80 and last closed at $99.53.
“BMNP, the Company’s perpetual preferred stock, gained 24% since issuance outperforming fixed income as Treasuries (TLT) fell -8% in that same timeframe,” continued Lee.
“BMNP has established a benchmark yield for ETH credit and at 9.56% is 256bp below that of comparable Bitcoin credit yield (STRC) and 515bp below that of comparable Solana yield (CHAD). This reflects the superior yield and stability characteristics of ETH, in my opinion,” continued Lee.
“We believe that as crypto enters a cycle we expect to be a bull market, what is notable is Bitmine’s share price outperformance of ETH during the bear market of 2025-2026. In the first 9 months of 2026, ETH declined 10% while BMNR was down by 3%, or outperformance of 731bp,” stated Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of Bitmine.
“The outperformance of ETH by 6,832bp relative to the S&P 500 in 3Q26 is notable considering the substantial macro headwinds that emerged in the quarter including a ‘hawkish’ Fed, surging oil, rise in global bond yields and general tightening of financial conditions. For the quarter, ETH outperformed by 6,832bp, dwarfing other macro assets,” stated Lee.
“Owing to the following factors, we see the potential for this to be the largest ever crypto bull market. The drivers being: tokenization; wealth transfer; DATS absorbed supply; Crypto being an AI downstream story,” continued Lee.
Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, recently stated on CNBC “$100 trillion of wealth transfer is underway” (interview link). Based upon data compiled by the IRS and Fundstrat, this wealth effect is estimated to total $1.5T to $2.0T between 2026-2028.
“The wealth transfer underway is expected to support the upcoming crypto bull market as those inheriting wealth are younger and likely have a higher risk appetite for crypto and equities. We expect this effect to be more pronounced in the bull market we expect to be upcoming compared to the prior 2019-2021 cycle as the wealth transfer is projected to be a much larger dollar value transfer compared to last cycle,” stated Lee.
And further differentiating this upcoming bull cycle is that crypto Digital Asset Treasuries (DATS) have absorbed a larger share of crypto supply.
“DATS represent essentially permanent supply removed from the crypto market and this dynamic is favorable ahead of the upcoming crypto bull cycle, particularly compared to the prior 2019-2021 period, when DATS were not a factor,” continued Lee.
“Over the past week, we acquired 12,532 ETH. Bitmine’s track record of consistent buying of crypto is unmatched by any public company in the world. Bitmine has bought ETH each and every week since the inception of the ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025,” stated Lee.
Earlier in 2026, Bitmine launched MAVAN (the Made in America VAlidator Network), the institutional-grade staking platform. While MAVAN was originally developed to support Bitmine’s own Ethereum treasury, MAVAN has expanded to serve institutional investors, custodians, and ecosystem partners seeking best-in-class staking infrastructure. A portion of Bitmine’s ETH is already staked on the MAVAN platform.
As of October 11, 2026, Bitmine total staked ETH stands at 5,067,309 ($12.9 billion at $2,544 per ETH). “Bitmine has staked more ETH than other entities in the world. At scale (when Bitmine’s ETH is fully staked by MAVAN and its staking partners), the projected ETH staking reward would be $400 million on an annualized basis (using 2.61% 7-day BMNR yield). This compares to annualized staking revenues at $336 million based upon BMNR’s 5.1 million currently staked ETH (84% of the 6.03 million ETH held by Bitmine),” continued Lee.
Bitmine’s crypto holdings reign as the #1 Ethereum treasury and #2 global treasury, behind Strategy Inc., which reportedly owns 848,000 BTC valued at approximately $77 billion. Bitmine remains the largest ETH treasury in the world.
Bitmine management believes the GENIUS Act and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Project Crypto are as transformational to financial services in 2026 as the U.S. action on August 15, 1971, which ended the Bretton Woods system and took the U.S. dollar off the gold standard 55 years ago. This 1971 event was the catalyst for the modernization of Wall Street, creating the iconic Wall Street titans and financial and payment rails of today.

The campaign runs from today till Oct. 31, 2026, and follows the launch of Bybit’s stock trading service, which gives eligible users access to more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs from the same account they use for crypto. Full Stocks Ahead is built to help first-time stock traders place their first trade and to reward active traders who keep trading through the month.
The prize pool is split across four parts: a first-trade reward, a daily reward box, the 100,000 USDC Stock Splash trading competition, and a 20,000 USDC leaderboard for Bybit affiliates.
How the Campaign Works
Daily reward box: Each day, eligible users who trade more than $2,000 in stocks receive a reward box containing up to 50 USDC.
Stock Splash trading competition (100,000 USDC): Participants share the prize pool in proportion to their eligible trading volume, with an individual cap of 5,000 USDC. To qualify, a participant must trade at least $1,000 in stocks during the campaign and hold at least $1,000 in stocks when the campaign ends. Two multipliers apply:
- Early trading: volume traded on Days 1–5 counts at 1.4x, stepping down to 1.3x (Days 6–10), 1.2x (Days 11–15), 1.1x (Days 16–18), and 1.0x (Days 19–20).
- Average holdings: an average daily stock balance of 1,000–10,000 earns a 1.1x multiplier, 10,000–100,000 earns 1.2x, and more than $100,000 earns 1.5x.
How to take Part
Eligible users can register on the Full Stocks Ahead campaign page and start trading stocks from the Bybit app or website. The campaign is open to main accounts in regions where Bybit’s stocks trading service is available. Pro accounts are not eligible. Final holdings for the Stock Splash competition are measured at the close of the campaign on Oct. 31, 2026, 0:00 UTC.
Full details, including reward distribution timelines, are available on the campaign page. Terms and Conditions apply.

MEXC Brings AI, TradFi and the Future of Trading to Life at TOKEN2049 Singapore
Mutsamudu, Comoros, October 12th, 2026, Chainwire
MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, concluded its TOKEN2049 Singapore presence with a series of interactive experiences and industry discussions spanning TradFi access, AI-powered trading and the future evolution of global trading platforms.
MEXC’s presence centered on three key areas: the MEXC Stage and a panel featuring MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade and Payward Co-CEO Arjun Sethi, hands-on AI experiences including the MEXC AI Trading Challenge powered by MEXC CLI and the AI Bond Test, and The NEXT Newspaper, an interactive experience that brought insights around TradFi, AI and the future of investing into a more engaging community format.
Thousands of participants joined MEXC’s on-site activities during the event, reflecting strong interest in both AI-enabled trading and broader access to traditional financial markets. Across the booth and the MEXC Stage, these themes came together around a broader question: how trading platforms can become more connected, accessible and intelligent as crypto and traditional finance continue to converge.
Exploring AI Through Hands-On Experiences
AI was one of the most visible themes across the MEXC booth.
Through the MEXC AI Trading Challenge, visitors experienced how natural-language instructions, AI agents and MEXC CLI can work together to move trading ideas more directly from analysis to action. The experience demonstrated how users can express what they want to do in everyday language, while AI agents supported by MEXC CLI connect those intentions with MEXC trading capabilities.
Alongside the trading experience, the AI Bond Test offered a more playful way for visitors to explore their relationship with AI, including how they use, trust and interact with AI in everyday decision-making.
Together, the two activities reflected growing interest not only in AI as an information or research tool, but also in how it could become a more natural part of the broader trading experience.
Bringing TradFi Insights Into the Community
Traditional financial markets were another major area of interest at TOKEN2049.
Through The NEXT Newspaper, MEXC transformed research insights around AI, trading and global markets into an interactive experience. Visitors could personalize their own newspaper with their photo and predictions about the future of investing, creating a bridge between research, market trends and community participation.
The activation reflected a broader shift in retail investing as users increasingly look beyond crypto toward stocks, commodities and other traditional financial assets, while expecting to access these opportunities through more seamless digital platforms.
From Crypto-TradFi Convergence to Platform Collaboration
These themes also extended to the MEXC Stage, where MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade joined Payward Co-CEO Arjun Sethi.
The panel explored how crypto and traditional finance are moving toward a more connected, always-on financial environment, and how retail demand could help drive the evolution toward platforms that provide access across multiple asset classes.
Arjun highlighted the infrastructure needed to support this evolution, noting that the promise of 24/7 markets ultimately depends on connecting assets and collateral more effectively.
Collaboration was another key theme. Arjun pointed to partnerships as an important part of reaching more global users, specifically referencing MEXC as an example of a platform that could help partners succeed in their respective core markets. Vugar similarly highlighted how platforms can build on different strengths across infrastructure, market access and retail distribution rather than approaching every opportunity purely through competition.
AI also featured in the discussion as part of the longer-term evolution of trading. Vugar noted that AI can help retail users process large amounts of information more efficiently and convert insights into action, while increasingly agentic tools could further change how users interact with financial platforms.
From hands-on AI experiences to TradFi engagement and conversations about the future of market infrastructure, MEXC’s TOKEN2049 presence reflected a broader direction for trading: more connected markets, broader access and increasingly intelligent ways for users to participate.

Bybit Supports Stocks Trading, Giving Eligible Global Users Access to 1,000+ U.S. Stocks and ETFs
DUBAI, UAE, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bybit, the New Financial Platform trusted by more than 80 million users worldwide, announced that stocks are now available for trading through Bybit, giving eligible users access to more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, including Apple (AAPL), NVIDIA (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), Micron Technology (MU) and the Invesco QQQ ETF (QQQ).
The development expands Bybit’s multi-asset platform, bringing access to U.S. equities alongside its existing digital asset and traditional market offerings. Eligible users in permitted jurisdictions who have completed the required KYC verification can trade supported U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDC.
“Stocks are an important part of our evolution into The New Financial Platform. Financial markets have long been separated across different products and platforms, but users increasingly expect a more connected experience,” said Ben Zhou, Co-founder and CEO of Bybit. “With stocks now available through Bybit, we are doing more than adding another asset class. We are giving people broader access to financial markets and greater freedom to pursue opportunities.”
Access to U.S. Stocks and ETFs
Stocks trading enables eligible users to buy and sell supported U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDC, bringing equity exposure into the same environment used for digital assets. Unlike price derivatives or synthetic instruments, Stocks trading gives eligible users an economic interest in the underlying securities they purchase.
Orders are routed through Bybit’s regulated brokerage infrastructure and executed through Alpaca, a U.S. self-clearing broker-dealer and a global leader in agent-first infrastructure. Additionally, the underlying securities are held in custody by Alpaca.
“Bybit’s expansion into U.S. stocks and ETFs is a major step forward in offering its global users a more complete, multi-asset trading experience,” said Yoshi Yokokawa, Co-Founder and CEO of Alpaca. “We’re thrilled to partner with Bybit and help power this next wave of global market access.”
Key features at launch include:
- 1,000+ U.S. stocks and ETFs, including widely traded companies with fractional shares available for eligible securities
- Trade with USDC, allowing eligible users to fund stock purchases directly from their Bybit account
- Direct economic exposure to underlying stocks, rather than derivatives or synthetic price exposure
- Allowing users to manage eligible crypto and equity positions within the Bybit ecosystem
- Corporate-action support, including cash and stock dividends and stock splits
- 24/5 trading, providing access during U.S. pre-market, regular and after-hours sessions, subject to product availability
- Zero commission, with no trading commissions charged on eligible stock purchases and sales
Eligible holders of supported U.S. stocks and ETFs can receive the economic benefits associated with their holdings, including cash and stock dividends, subject to applicable security and corporate-action terms. Cash dividends are converted from USD into USDC and credited to the user’s Unified Trading Account (UTA), while stock dividends are reflected directly in the user’s position.
Stock splits are also reflected in users’ holdings in accordance with the applicable corporate action. Voting rights are planned for launch in a future phase.
Building a Broader Multi-Asset Platform
The addition of stock services adds to the exchange’s growing range of products across traditional and digital markets. Alongside crypto spot and derivatives trading, Bybit offers access to traditional markets through its MT5 platform, tokenized equities and TradFi perpetuals.
“We believe the next chapter of finance is one where the walls between crypto and traditional markets no longer exist. Bybit is built to operate in both worlds and proves that tokenizing real-world assets at scale is not a future ambition. It is something we are delivering today,” added Ben.
