EASTON, Pa., Aug. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Eightco Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS) (“Eightco” or the “Company”) today provided an update on its total holdings, highlighting its position across digital assets and strategic investments in leading private technology companies.

Top Headlines Driving the News:
Eightco’s management believes the Company’s treasury portfolio holds some of the most critical components for the future AI and digital financial system. This week’s top headlines include:
- On August 2, the World Bank released a report noting that artificial intelligence could enable developing countries to gain a century’s worth of development in a decade if they act quickly on power, connectivity and skills gaps. “AI has thrown developing economies a lifeline, and they should seize it,” said Indermit Gill, the World Bank’s chief economist (Reuters).
- On July 29, it was reported that the AI boom is creating thousands of high-paying jobs for electricians, carpenters, and other skilled trades needed to build the infrastructure powering the future of AI (The New York Times).
- On July 26, it was announced that Nvidia is in talks with OpenAI to provide a roughly $250 billion backstop for OpenAI as part of a massive data-center project. The two companies are exploring a 10-gigawatt, $500 billion data center campus in southern Ohio managed by SoftBank’s SB Energy (WSJ).
- On a recent podcast episode, Sam Altman suggested that we may be approaching the “singularity,” a pivotal moment when advances in AI could accelerate rapidly, unlocking new possibilities for scientific discovery, economic growth, and human progress, while potentially leading to the emergence of superintelligent systems (Relentless).
- Last week, firms including BlackRock, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Goldman Sachs and SoFi urged Congress to pass the Clarity Act, arguing that clear rules would protect investors, give companies regulatory certainty and help the U.S. stay competitive as digital assets become more mainstream (Coindesk).
Tom Lee, Board Member of Eightco ORBS recently said during his July 27th appearance on CNBC Power Lunch: “Crypto is turning money into software; a lot of things can turn into money: loyalty points, reputation… You want a governing body to oversee all this. Now, Japan, Russia, Europe are actually passing Clarity Act-like bills. So the U.S. is risking getting behind. That’s why I think crypto is recovering, because outside the U.S., it’s being embraced.”
Eightco: Exposure to key mega-trends
Eightco is built around three mega-trends the Company expects to shape the next decade of innovation: artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy, with positions in each trend through indirect investment in OpenAI (24% of ORBS’ treasury holdings), Worldcoin (25%), and Beast Industries (5%).
Artificial Intelligence — OpenAI
Eightco has invested approximately $90 million in special purpose vehicles with exposure to equity interests in the parent company of OpenAI, representing approximately 24% of treasury assets, one of the highest disclosed concentrations of any listed vehicle.
ChatGPT, OpenAI’s consumer app, is the #1 consumer AI app worldwide (Sensor Tower). On July 31, 2026, OpenAI announced that its models now reach more than one billion active users and more than two million businesses. Six months after signing up, people send roughly 50 percent more messages each day and use ChatGPT for about twice as many kinds of work.
Digital Identity — WLD Token
Eightco holds nearly 302 million WLD, approximately 8.4% of circulating supply, the largest publicly disclosed institutional position globally and approximately 25% of the Eightco treasury’s assets.
Worldcoin is the native token of World, a global Proof of Human network built by Tools for Humanity (co-founded by Sam Altman and Alex Blania) and stewarded by the World Foundation. Its Orb devices issue a privacy-preserving World ID that verifies a user is a unique human, not an AI agent.
Under World’s announced business model, applications pay per-verification fees while end-user verification remains free, with both credential issuers and the World protocol monetizing verified-human authentication. World identifies a $6.35 trillion combined addressable revenue opportunity across 13 industries spanning banking, e-commerce, gaming, social media, and agentic AI (per Tools for Humanity).
Creator Economy — Beast Industries
Eightco has invested $18 million in Beast Industries equity, approximately 5% of treasury assets.
Beast Industries operates one of the largest direct-to-consumer reach footprints in the world, with a combined 500 million-plus follower base across platforms, anchored by MrBeast as the most-watched person on YouTube globally. As AI commoditizes content production, distribution and audience trust become increasingly scarce assets.
About Eightco Holdings Inc.

(NASDAQ: ORBS) is a publicly traded company executing a first-of-its-kind Worldcoin (WLD) treasury strategy, providing investors single-ticker indirect exposure to three of the defining trends of this cycle: artificial intelligence through its indirect investment in OpenAI, digital identity through its position as the largest public holder of WLD and the Proof of Human protocol, and the creator economy through its equity stake in MrBeast’s Beast Industries. LINK’s latest setup combines shrinking exchange supply, rising whale activity, and improving fundamentals, while traders await a confirmation.
Chainlink recorded 1.26 million tokens in net exchange outflows over 24 hours. This was the largest daily outflow since June 29.
Santiment said the drop in exchange supply means fewer LINK tokens are available for quick sell orders, which could potentially lower future sell-off risk.
Bullish Signals
The timing of the move is interesting, according to Santiment. In July, the DTCC processed tokenized US securities trades with Chainlink listed among its technology providers. Meanwhile, its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) expanded support across institutional and crypto networks, including Canton and Robinhood Chain. Santiment believes that these developments could be positive for patient LINK bulls.
The crypto asset started July near $7.85 and briefly slipped below $7.6 before recovering. The price then climbed higher and even broke above $8, eventually reaching around $8.86. However, the rally did not hold, and by August LINK pulled back toward $8.2.
Against this backdrop, whale activity around Chainlink has picked up significantly, which essentially reflected stronger confidence among major holders. The network also ranked second in Santiment’s RWA development ranking, behind Hedera, after showing improved activity compared with the previous month.
Pseudonymous market watcher, ‘The Boss,’ said the crypto asset is now testing whether it can break out of the downtrend that has controlled its price for weeks. It has held a long-term demand zone while challenging a descending trendline that has repeatedly rejected price. According to the trader, the structure has strengthened, but confirmation is still needed. A break above the first resistance of $11.62 could mark LINK’s greatest technical recovery since the decline began.
The focus is now on whether buyers can form higher highs and higher lows while staying above the demand zone. If that structure fails, the asset could remain trapped inside the broader bearish trend.

CCIP Adoption
Zooming out, Chainlink is also seeing wider adoption across its ecosystem. Dozens of projects have switched to its technology in recent months. These include Kraken’s kBTC, along with Solv Protocol’s SolvBTC and xSolvBTC.
BitGo also announced moving its cross-chain infrastructure to Chainlink’s CCIP. The move comes as more projects shift away from LayerZero following the $292 million KelpDAO bridge exploit earlier this year.

Meta Debuts AI Coding Agent Muse: Here’s How It Compares to Claude Code and Codex
In brief
- Meta released Muse Code (beta), a terminal coding agent powered by Muse Spark 1.2, its updated coding model. It’s available now via the Meta Model API and a curl install script.
- The agent coordinates persistent background subagents and keeps a replay-exact event log, so a crash resumes exactly where it stopped.
- On Meta’s own charts, Muse Spark 1.2 trails Anthropic’s Opus 5 on every coding benchmark shown, while beating OpenAI’s Codex and Google’s Antigravity on most.
Meta is the latest tech giant to ship a coding agent, racing to compete with leading AI behemoths Anthropic and OpenAI.
“We’re excited to release Muse Code (beta), a terminal coding agent powered by Muse Spark 1.2, our newest model,” the company wrote in an official announcement. “This marks our next step toward the frontier, with larger and much more capable models on the way.”
As an agentic coding tool, Muse Code is built for software engineering across large repositories. Per Meta, it “takes on complex software engineering tasks across large repositories: planning changes, writing code, and validating the results. It can coordinate multiple persistent subagents for each task, solving difficult problems faster, more accurately, and with less intervention.”
The detail that stands out is the runtime. Muse Code logs every model call, tool run, approval, and edit to a local event log that acts as a single source of truth. “This single source of truth makes the runtime replay-exact and restart-safe: after a crash, the agent can resume precisely where it stopped,” Meta said. For long-running jobs, that’s the feature that matters more than raw speed—and it’s the part competitors haven’t made a selling point.
It also ships with default skills. The “/plan” command turns a task into an approval-gated plan, while “/grill” stress-tests that plan until it holds up and “/goal” works toward successful completion of the objective similar to what Hermes does. Meta said it co-trained Muse Spark 1.2 with Muse Code so the core LLM and the agent work together in synergy.
The benchmarks, and the catch
Muse Spark 1.2 is a coding-focused update to Muse Spark 1.1. Meta said it “significantly scaled up training compute on coding tasks while expanding training environment diversity, delivering improvements in code generation, complex debugging, and end-to-end developer workflows.” The charts tell a clear story.
On Terminal-Bench 2.1, Muse Spark 1.2 with Muse Code scored 82.9%, behind Claude Code on Opus 5 at 86.7% but ahead of GPT-5.6 Terra on Codex (81.8%) and Grok Build (81.6%).
DeepSWE 1.1, which measures agentic coding capabilities, was closer: 59.3% for Muse versus 65.0% for Opus 5 and 64.8% for Codex. On Meta’s internal coding bench, Muse hit 70.6% to Opus 5’s 79.4%.
The speedup charts flip the order. Over 1,000-plus tool calls, Opus 5 posted the biggest gain versus baseline (about 74–75%), with Muse Spark 1.2 mid-pack at roughly 61–69% depending on the run. Meta’s point is that the agent keeps improving as tool calls accumulate, the behavior you want from a long-horizon coder.

The most interesting demos are long-horizon and multimodal. In stress testing, Meta said Muse Code “iteratively optimized GPU kernels over 1,000+ tool calls (up to 24 hours) on Nvidia Hopper GPUs.” That means it was able to improve over time.
There’s also a visual-coding angle. In one demo, a user drops a fly-through video of a house into the terminal as an mp4, and Muse Code “interprets the video and produces a visually rich website with booking capabilities.” Reading raw video into a working web app is the multimodal pitch Meta has been making across the Muse line.
See the launch thread:
Here’s an example of Muse Code’s multimodal visual coding capabilities. In this demo, the user inputs a fly-through video of a home into the terminal as an mp4 file. Muse Code interprets the video and produces a visually rich website with booking capabilities. pic.twitter.com/3CAfIMYmAB
— AI at Meta (@AIatMeta) August 5, 2026
The field is already crowded
That said, Meta is late to the fight. OpenAI’s Codex already runs parallel cloud agents; DeepSeek has built its own rival to Claude Code and agentic tools like Hermes or OpenClaw are already good substitutes with more capabilities. Muse Code’s edge is the crash-safe runtime and the subagent design, not benchmark supremacy.
The risk is the usual one for agentic coding: an agent that resumes after a crash and keeps calling tools for 24 hours is powerful and unpredictable. Meta is betting developers want that autonomy, and it’s shipping now.
Muse Code is available for testing upon installation entering this command:
curl -fsSL https://dev.meta.ai/install.sh | bash

The former TON executive joins as Director of Strategic Partnerships to form the connections behind ChangeNOW’s next phase.
Former TON executive Martin Masser joins ChangeNOW to build strategic partnerships, ecosystem relationships, and media momentum behind its next phase.
Masser comes with experience across traditional banking, Web2 and Web3, including senior growth and business development roles within the TON space. At ChangeNOW, he will lead strategic relationships with blockchain networks, wallets, fintech companies, payment providers and other infrastructure partners.
His appointment comes as ChangeNOW grows beyond standalone crypto services, transitioning to one connected product where users can buy, store, swap, trade, send, receive and grow digital assets. The industry has already built most of the individual components. What it hasn’t solved is the experience of using them together; clients are still expected to switch between platforms, understand different networks and connect the pieces on their own. ChangeNOW’s super app strategy is designed to move that complexity beneath the product.
“Martin brings a rare mix of commercial relationships, product and media understanding,” said Pauline Shangett, Chief Strategy Officer at ChangeNOW. “He knows what the technology can do, what the business needs and how to make the market pay attention. That is exactly the perspective we need as we build the ChangeNOW super app.”
Masser’s role will focus not on accumulating partnership announcements, but on identifying relationships that can make ChangeNOW’s infrastructure more complete and remove unnecessary steps from the сlient experience.
“The best partnerships create access, adoption and attention. My focus is to build relationships that make the product stronger, simpler and more useful, and then help the market understand why they matter. If you are building wallets, networks, payments, stablecoins, fintech infrastructure, consumer crypto or Web3 products, I want to hear from you,” said Masser.
For consumers, ChangeNOW is combining the core activities of managing crypto within one environment. For businesses, it is developing an integrated set of tools for crypto payments, exchange, stablecoin settlement, digital asset management and Web3 integrations.
As ChangeNOW expands into a crypto super app, its next phase is connecting the right networks, wallets and partners. Masser’s role will be central to building those relationships and turning them into product value, adoption and market momentum.
About ChangeNOW
ChangeNOW.io is a crypto super app built for every crypto move, giving newcomers, professionals, and businesses the tools they need to access Web3 finance in a simple and secure way.
Since 2017, ChangeNOW has grown from a fast, secure, and limitless instant exchange into a trusted platform where storage, swaps, trading, staking, and asset management are covered in one simple experience for millions of clients worldwide.
About Martin Masser
Martin Masser is Director of Strategic Partnerships at ChangeNOW, where he is building partnerships around the company’s expansion into a crypto super app. His career covers traditional banking and capital markets in London and Web3, including his previous role as Head of Growth at TON Foundation. Bitcoin sales and $4 billion cash reserve fuel STRC’s recovery toward par value
Strategy’s (MSTR) perpetual preferred stock, Stretch (STRC), has risen more than 30% from its June low. It is currently trading around $94, after gaining another 1% on Wednesday.
STRC bottomed in late June around $71 as bitcoin fell below $60,000. Since then, Strategy has sold 5,226 BTC for $321 million across three separate transactions, reducing its bitcoin holdings from 847,363 BTC to approximately 842,137 BTC. The sales were intended, in part, to demonstrate that the company can use bitcoin to meet its dividend obligations, rather than treating it as an idle asset.
Strategy has also repurchased $106 million of STRC as it seeks to return the preferred stock to its $100 stated value.
In addition, the company increased its U.S. dollar reserve by another $250 million on Monday, bringing the total to $4 billion. This provides approximately 2.3 years of coverage for dividend obligations on its preferred securities. Meanwhile, Strategy maintained STRC’s annualized dividend rate at 12%.
As for bitcoin, the price has at least stopped falling, stabilizing above $60,000 for several weeks in a row.

Fourteen-day event with Decibel will pit tokenized stocks, gold and oil against BTC, ETH and SOL in a first-of-its-kind self-custodial competition with a $25,000 USDC prize pool
One of the fastest-growing narratives in digital assets is about to face its biggest public test.
Tria, the self-custodial neofinance platform, today launched TradFi vs Crypto, the industry’s first trading competition to pit tokenized real-world assets directly against cryptocurrencies under identical conditions on a self-custodial platform. Developed in partnership with Decibel, the Aptos Labs-incubated perpetuals exchange, the fourteen-day competition allows traders to compete across two parallel arenas: TradFi and Crypto. Traders can access and trade across the full range of TradFi and crypto assets without being limited to any single market or asset class.
Trading competitions have become a fixture of the crypto industry, but they have almost exclusively focused on digital assets traded on centralized exchanges. TradFi vs Crypto marks the first time tokenized real-world assets and cryptocurrencies will compete head-to-head under the same rules, creating a rare public measure of where traders actually choose to deploy their capital.
The competition also represents a departure from the way nearly every major trading competition has operated to date. Rather than requiring traders to transfer assets into exchange-controlled wallets for the duration of the event, participants compete directly from wallets they control, maintaining self-custody throughout.
“Tokenized real-world assets have become one of the biggest stories in digital finance, but there has never been a straightforward way to measure how traders actually value them against crypto,” said Vijit Katta, Co-Founder of Tria. “For the next fourteen days, the market gets to answer that question. At the same time, we’re showing that traders no longer have to sacrifice self-custody to participate in large-scale trading competitions.”
Running from August 5 through August 19, the competition places both asset classes under identical conditions, creating one of the clearest public comparisons yet between demand for tokenized stocks, commodities and traditional crypto assets. Rather than simply rewarding trading activity, the event will produce a transparent side-by-side view of which market participants gravitate toward when the incentives, timeframe and rules are the same.
The competition features two independent leaderboards. The Crypto arena will award $15,000 USDC across its top ten traders, while the TradFi arena will distribute $10,000 USDC to its top ten finishers. First place will receive $4,000 in the Crypto arena and $2,500 in the TradFi arena. Traders may compete in both arenas simultaneously and qualify for rewards in each independently.
Participants automatically enter the competition upon placing their first qualifying trade, with no registration or claim process required. Traders who accumulate $15,000 in total trading volume during the competition window become eligible for leaderboard prizes, while those who trade $10,000 or more in a single day will automatically receive an entry into that day’s raffle for either a VIP tier upgrade or a cash prize.
Rewards will be paid directly in USDC to participants’ Tria Decibel Wallets.
Competition Details
TradFi vs Crypto runs from August 5, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. ET (10:30 UTC) through August 19, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. ET (10:30 UTC). Traders can access and trade across the full range of TradFi and crypto assets without being limited to any single market or asset class.
Additional details include:
- $25,000 USDC total prize pool
- $15,000 allocated to the Crypto leaderboard
- $10,000 allocated to the TradFi leaderboard
- Top ten traders in each arena receive prizes
- $15,000 cumulative trading volume required to qualify
- Automatic entry upon first qualifying trade
- Traders may compete in both arenas simultaneously
- Daily raffle entry earned with $10,000 or more in trading volume in a single day
- Rewards paid directly to participants’ Tria Decibel Wallets
